Sol: Didn't you hear Dick Cheny IS the president.
I would be happy to vote for John McCain

I'm not a Democrat (I'm fiercely independent of the parties). But so far I've never voted for a Republican for President (first got to vote in '92). I would be happy to vote for McCain.

John McCain. I was a huge supporter of McCain back in '00. I ended up voting for W. because I thought was a very good choice as well (I am fairly conservative).
In my absolute refusal to vote for someone who I do not support, I voted for Micheal Badnarik (L) because him and his party represent my old school conservative views much more then the current Republican Party which we all know has been hijacked by the Religious Right (hence my support for the much more moderate McCain).
So far it has been a night to celebrate as Badnarik is only 30,000 votes behind Nader.

Word has it that Guliani is going to run in 2008. I think either him or Nugent. Thing I liked about Ventura was that he told it like it was, none of this BS like everyone else. I could care less if I disagreed with every issue he stood for he'd still get my vote. To many of these other idiots are like Kerry and have set their entire life on acheiving this goal. People like Ventura aren't career politicians and have nothing to lose by speaking their mind.

There's only one choice I can think of. That there would be Sol_on_the_Duck. Let me elaborate. He's as true blue American as you can get, he doesn't step into other peoples stuff (except for your bad eggs), he doesn't believe we should have things we don't need (smokers), he's hard headed on his beliefs (how to fish), and he calls a bad net job when he see's one. Now you have it!

I think a ticket of Powell as president, and Rudy as VP would be great.
